We are currently interviewing for a Part Time Pet Care Giver/Kennel Technician position. This position involves extensive interaction with dogs of all breeds and sizes, intensive cleaning of kennels and facility, and interaction with clients and guests at check in and check out. There are 2 shifts every day from 7:30am to 1:30pm and 3:30 or 4:00pm to 9:00pm. There are occasional shorter shifts when volume dictates. All shift ending times are approximate and run every day, including weekends and holidays. Starting salary is $10/hour, with increases up to $17/hour based on performance, ability and reliability. Tips are paid based on attendance and percentage of total hours worked and are included in each paycheck once the training period ends. Previous kennel experience is not required, but you must love dogs and have experience either with family pets or in a kennel environment. Please indicate such experience on your application. Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Provide daily care for guests. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kennel environment and outdoor play areas. Monitor animal behavior, cleanliness and health, reporting any concerns to management. Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and support. Collaborate and communicate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
