In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for dogs and other pets in our care. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure each pet feels loved, secure, and well-cared-for during their stay. Duties Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, exercising, and monitoring animals' health and behavior Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and basic trimming to keep animals comfortable and looking their best Support veterinary staff with animal handling during medical procedures or examinations Offer pet sitting services by engaging with animals to reduce stress and promote well-being Manage heavy lifting when moving supplies or large animals safely and efficiently Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet needs and care routines Qualifications Prior experience in kennel work, animal handling, or pet care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Experience with pet grooming, veterinary assisting, or animal restraint enhances your suitability for the role Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift Passion for animal welfare with a compassionate approach to pet care Join us in creating a safe haven where animals receive top-tier care while building rewarding relationships with pets and their owners. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
