Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. Must be over 18 with a high school diploma, In this role, you will provide a safe and engaging environment for dogs while ensuring their well-being and happiness during their stay. Your love for animals and commitment to excellent customer service will be essential in creating a positive experience for both our furry guests and their owners. No criminal record. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Must lift at least 50 lbs. Provide behavioral guidance to dogs as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the daycamp facility, including suites, play areas, and equipment. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management or staff. Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing general care for the dogs. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, needs, and any incidents that may occur during their visit. Perform heavy lifting as required when moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Experience Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills: Dog experience to help manage behaviors in a daycare setting. Veterinary experience or knowledge of animal care practices is highly desirable. Proven dog handling skills, including animal restraint techniques for safety during interactions. Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus. Familiarity with pet grooming techniques to maintain the appearance of the dogs in care. Background in pet sitting or lodging work that demonstrates your ability to care for animals responsibly. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
