In this energetic role, you will assist with daily kennel operations, animal handling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for pets and staff alike. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure each animal receives the love, care, and attention they deserve while supporting the overall smooth operation of our facility. Duties Walk dogs Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and common areas to promote a healthy environment for animals Handle animals gently and confidently, ensuring proper restraint and safety during routine care and procedures Support pet grooming and basic training activities to enhance animal well-being and behavior Help with feeding, watering, and administering medication as directed Assist with animal care tasks Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies, bedding, or animals safely within the facility Qualifications Prior experience in kennel work, animal handling, or pet care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet grooming is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Experience working with animals in veterinary technician or assistant roles is beneficial Reliable, detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for animal welfare and care Possibility to work in our retail store Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets!
