This is a full time position, 4 days on and 3 days off, schedule discussed during the interview. Role Responsibilities Ensuring the effective operation of the kennel for all daycare and boarding facilities Overseeing and ensuring the general health and wellness of all dogs at the kennel. Assist with morning cleaning and other daily/weekly checklist items as needed to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of grounds and free-range areas Oversee feeding and medication distribution Complete weekly supply inventory Complete final walkthrough after all kennel departures are done for the day and boarding dogs are in bed for the evening Shut off all lights and lock up all facilities at the end of the day Must be 18 years or older Qualifications Previous kennel experience Proficiency in animal handling and restraint Strong pet care skills Dog training experience is a plus Veterinary experience or background preferred Ability to handle and care for dogs Knowledge of pet grooming techniques Experience in customer service Capable of heavy lifting Certification as a veterinary technician or assistant is advantageous
