Join It's A R-R-Ruff Life, a small grooming salon in South Knoxville where your work and your voice matters. It's A R-R-Ruff Life is hiring an experienced dog groomer for our South Knoxville salon. This position starts at 2-3 days per week (Monday, Friday & Saturday), with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. This is a commission-based position. We're looking for a groomer who handles every dog with patience, recognizes signs of stress, and takes the time needed to groom safely.

Responsibilities:

Groom dogs from start to finish, including bathing, drying, haircuts, nails, and ear cleaning. Discuss grooming requests with clients and flag coat, skin, or health concerns. Follow all safe handling practices and salon policies. Complete assigned side work, including cleaning and helping maintain a tidy salon. Work cooperatively with other groomers and salon staff.

Qualifications:

Professional dog grooming experience. Strong scissoring and breed-style skills. Confidence working with dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments. Ability to work well with others. Clear communication and dependable attendance. Your own grooming tools.

$450.00 - $1,000.00 per week
