Weekend Barn & Stall Help Gilley Performance Horses is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join us for weekend barn help at our horse training facility in Morristown, TN. The primary responsibility will be cleaning approximately 17 stalls every Saturday and Sunday . We would also love to find someone who has additional availability to help with feeding and basic barn chores as needed, especially when we are traveling for horse shows.

Responsibilities may include:

Cleaning and bedding approximately 17 stalls Dumping and refilling water buckets Feeding hay and grain as needed Basic barn cleaning and upkeep Turning horses in/out when needed Keeping an eye on horses and letting us know if anything seems unusual Additional horse and barn chores as needed We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up when scheduled Is comfortable and confident working around horses Can safely handle horses when necessary Is able to perform physical barn work, including lifting feed/hay, pushing wheelbarrows, and cleaning stalls Pays attention to detail and follows feeding/care instructions Can work independently and communicate well Horse experience is strongly preferred. Experience working in a training or show barn is a plus, but we are willing to work with the right person who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable around horses. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend work with the possibility of additional hours when we are traveling.
