Responsibilities Assist groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and coat styling of dogs of all sizes and breeds Safely handle animals during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety through proper restraint techniques Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic coat maintenance as directed Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist with larger dogs or equipment setup Observe animals for signs of stress or health issues during grooming sessions and report concerns promptly Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly desirable; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required Familiarity with kennel operations, pet sitting, or veterinary environments enhances your suitability for this role Passion for animal welfare combined with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills Reliable work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Excellent Time management skills are a must.
