Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work areas to uphold health standards Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, pet health considerations, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring animals are comfortable and calm throughout the process Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and fostering positive relationships Support kennel duties or pet sitting responsibilities as needed to ensure overall animal care and facility cleanliness Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Background in veterinary settings such as veterinary technician experience or veterinary assistant roles is a plus Familiarity with dog training techniques and canine behavior management enhances your ability to handle diverse breeds confidently Experience with animal restraint methods, pet nail trimming, and coat styling ensures high-quality grooming results Knowledge of animal care practices including pet sitting, kennel management, or equine experience demonstrates versatility in animal handling Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large dogs Join us in delivering top-tier pet grooming services that leave every dog looking great and feeling loved!
