In this dynamic role, you'll be the friendly face greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring every pet receives attentive care. Your energy will help foster a positive atmosphere while supporting the daily operations of our pet care facility. Position information:
This is a split role between Lakeside Pet Spa in West Plano and Ohana Pet Resort in Frisco. Most shifts are 2-9pm or 7am-2pm. This role requires evenings, weekends and
HOLIDAYS
This position has opportunity for advancement to shift lead, manager and general manager in the future. This role is currently part time, but full time may be available in the near future. Outside and indoor work required Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for pets and their owners Schedule appointments for pet grooming, daycare and boarding Handle phone inquiries, provide information about services, and book reservations efficiently Monitor pet behavior and ensure proper animal handling and restraint during visits Assist with pet care activities such as feeding, walking, and administering basic medications when needed Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and animal kennels to ensure a safe and hygienic environment including cleaning up excrement Support operations with basic tasks like kennel cleaning, animal restraint, and record keeping Cleaning up after pets General Cleaning Work both inside and outside Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Skilled with computers, emailing, and phone Experience with dogs Scheduling experience Knowledge of grooming procedures is a plus Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting pets or supplies) Familiarity with animal care practices including feeding and care Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about animal welfare who thrive in a lively environment.
