We are looking for an energetic dog lover that wants to spend their day supervising, caring for, playing with, and petting dogs. The job involves all aspects of daycare/boarding work. Our associates are responsible for everything from the safety of the dogs to cleaning, feeding, and playing. This position will keep you busy, on your feet, and moving around as you interact with and care for the dogs. This is a messy and very busy job. This opening is a
PART-TIME
Fill-IN position (hours will change from week to week based on staff's vacation requests and other needs). This is not an on-call or last minute position but each week's schedule will be different (and you will have the option of picking up additional hours last minute if they become available). This is a part-time shift as we cannot guarantee more consistent hours; however, some weeks there may be full time hours available and many of our full-time staff started as fill-in staff (this is also a great way to get your foot in the door and you will have priority when other regular shifts open up). We are looking for people that have daytime and overnight availability on weekdays and weekends as that will give you the most flexibility if picking up shifts.
Job requirements:
  • Understanding of dog behavior (e.g.
  • play vs. aggression)
  • Loves interacting and playing with groups of dogs (on a regular basis)
  • Reliability, Dependability, and Consistency
  • Willing to clean up after dogs and do basic cleaning
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to be on feet for entirety of shift
  • Patient, friendly, and team oriented attitude
