In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for animals in a kennel environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of pets while maintaining a clean and organized facility. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for animal care and are looking to contribute positively to the lives of pets and their owners. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness in kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff. Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed. Support pet owners with information about pet care and training techniques. Ensure all animals are safely handled during interactions and while in the kennel environment. Assist with administrative tasks related to pet care records and scheduling. Skills Strong knowledge of animal care practices, including feeding, grooming, and general health monitoring. Proficiency in animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling of pets. Familiarity with dog training methods is a plus. Previous experience in a kennel or pet sitting environment is beneficial.
