Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, animal‑loving Kennel Tech to join our busy pet care team. You will be responsible for daily care of boarding and daycare dogs, keeping kennel areas clean, and supporting our grooming and front‑desk operations. Prior animal care experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities Feed, water, and administer medication per owner instructions; keep accurate care logs Clean, sanitize and disinfect kennels, runs, play yards, dishes and laundry Walk dogs, supervise group play, monitor dog behavior and report any signs of stress, sickness or injury to management Assist with dog intake / discharge, help take photos/videos for pet parents updates Help with basic bathing, nail trims and kennel area maintenance as needed Follow all safety and cleaning protocols; maintain a tidy facility Work cooperatively with grooming and front‑desk staff; perform other duties as assigned Requirements Genuine love for dogs; calm, patient attitude with all temperaments Must be available to work weekends and holidays Physically able to stand for long hours, bend, lift up to 50‑60 lbs, work indoors and outdoors in Texas weather Reliable transportation, punctual and dependable Good teamwork, detail‑oriented, comfortable with pet messes Animal care / kennel / daycare experience is preferred, not mandatory; we provide on‑the‑job training Must speak and understand English Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $12‑14 / hr Part‑time available Employee discount on pet services How to apply: Please send your resume and short message to: copperfielddog@hotmail.com Or stop by our shop in person to apply.
