8481 West Texas 29, Leander, TX (new store) Full-Time / Contract (W2) $1,500-$3,000 per week Mon-Fri 9 AM-6 PM, Sat 10 AM-6 PM (weekends strongly preferred) 6-8 dogs/day capacity About the Role Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer at petbar® Leander — our exciting new store location. You'll deliver 5-star grooming and customer service with your own professional grooming suite, dedicated support staff. Provide top-quality grooming services that enhance each pet's comfort and appearance while building trusting relationships with pet owners. We are especially looking for groomers willing to work weekends, as weekends are one of our busiest times. We would love to find someone who can comfortably handle a minimum of approximately six dogs per day. Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and coat work tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Perform breed-appropriate cuts and grooming with precision and compassion Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, dematting, gland expression, and other routine grooming services Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments using proper animal handling and restraint techniques Communicate effectively with pet parents about requested grooming services and pet care recommendations Evaluate pets before grooming to identify health or behavioral concerns Greet customers at drop-off and pick-up, representing petbar® professionally Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming environment throughout the day Clean and sanitize grooming tools and equipment Prioritize pet safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Your Grooming Suite Includes Professional grooming table High-velocity dryer Tool cabinet with industry-standard equipment Private work area — no sharing grooming space with other groomers What We're Looking For 5+ years professional dog grooming experience with strong breed and coat knowledge Highly talented groomer capable of delivering 5-star results consistently Strong dog-handling skills with confidence working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Knowledge of pet care and grooming techniques, animal handling, and restraint methods Ability to work independently and manage a busy grooming schedule Comfortable grooming approximately six+ dogs per day Excellent communication skills — professional, empathetic, and customer-focused Able to lift 75+ pounds and stand for extended periods Weekend availability is strongly preferred Passion for providing high-quality care to pets combined with positive attitude and team spirit Grooming certification is a plus (not required) What We Offer Competitive compensation: $1,500-$3,000 per week based on productivity Professional grooming suites — your own dedicated space Dedicated support staff for appointment scheduling and client communication Fun, supportive team environment Best commission structure in the industry
