In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive grooming services, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your expertise will help strengthen the bond between pets and their families, making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat styling to meet client specifications and breed standards. Handle animals safely and compassionately using animal restraint techniques and proper handling skills. Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene procedures to promote pet health. Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special care instructions, and pet behavior during appointments. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including equipment sanitization and proper disposal of waste. Assist with animal handling during grooming procedures, ensuring safety for both pets and staff. Support kennel duties such as feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals when needed. Light lifting of pets or supplies to facilitate grooming tasks efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming 3 years minimum Familiarity with animal restraint methods and heavy lifting requirements. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners. Ability to handle various animals including dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
