Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kennel Technician to join our dynamic veterinary team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional animal care, ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of a diverse range of animals including dogs, cats, and other small animals. Your expertise will support veterinary procedures, maintain clean and safe kennel environments, and assist with daily pet husbandry. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on animal well-being while working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Responsibilities Provide high-quality animal care, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and cleaning kennels to maintain a hygienic environment. Administer medications and feeding. Handle a variety of animals confidently using proper restraint techniques; demonstrate knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy. Maintain detailed records of animal care activities, medication administration. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times to ensure safety for yourself and the animals. Requirements Proven kennel experience with a strong background in pet care. Skilled in animal handling, including dog handling and animal restraint techniques. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members at the front desk and other departments. Ability to use veterinary terminology accurately and efficiently in documentation and communication. $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
