Job Description

Pettito is currently seeking Kennel Technicians for our Shenandoah location! At our thriving pet retail stores, we offer an exciting opportunity for professional development, career growth, and a substantial income. This position is responsible for the care and well-being of all our available pets. If you are passionate about animal care and looking for an opportunity to grow, we would love to hear from you! What you'll do… Direct care of puppies (feeding, monitoring, overall well-being) Daily cleaning and disinfecting kennels and work areas Administer medications and vaccinations as directed Take and record puppy weights Ensure proper presentation of puppies and their kennels Communicate effectively with Vet Techs and management What we're looking for… Our ideal candidate will have experience working with animals. They'll be passionate about animal care and maintenance. A team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent (required) Bilingual English and Spanish (required) Basic knowledge of medications and vaccinations Ability to perform physically demanding tasks Organized and responsible Attention to detail Why Us?
