This position requires a compassionate individual with extensive knowledge of animal practices. The Animal Care Shift Manager will be in charge of the complete facility all customer interactions and maintain compliance with our established standards. Responsibilities Understand proper animal handling techniques, medication administration Monitor the health and behavior of animals, identifying any signs of illness or distress Maintain accurate records of animal health, treatments administered, and any behavioral observations. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the facility by adhering to established sanitation protocols. Collaborate with other managers to provide care and assist in procedures as required. Foster a positive environment, and effective communication. Qualifications Proven experience in animal care management or a related field is preferred. Experience with dog handling, kennel operations, and or veterinary critical care is highly desirable. A compassionate approach towards animal welfare combined with strong self motivation capabilities.
