Part-Time Head Bather (Experienced) BarkSuds - Sugar Land, TX BarkSuds is a luxury, membership-based dog grooming salon in Sugar Land seeking an experienced Head Bather to help lead bathing quality and maintain strong back-end workflow during peak hours. This role is ideal for a highly skilled bather who takes pride in setting the standard for coat prep, drying quality, and salon efficiency. Required Schedule (Must Be Available):
Monday-Saturday:
9:00 AM - 4:00
PM Thursdays:
9:00AM-9:00
PM Compensation:
$14.50 per hour + tips
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality bathing, drying, and brush-outs for all coat types Confidently and independently complete light trims (face, feet, sanitary) Ensure proper drying and prep before dogs move to grooming Maintain kennel rotation and back-end workflow during shifts Oversee station cleanliness and towel/laundry flow Identify coat or skin concerns and communicate appropriately Support groomers to ensure smooth daily operations Set the tone for professionalism and efficiency in the bathing area
Requirements:
Strong professional bathing experience
REQUIRED
Proven ability to handle all coat types and temperaments Must confidently perform light trims References from previous bathing employers required Comfortable working independently and managing workflow Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional, steady, and detail-oriented This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking someone who understands grooming salon standards and can uphold quality and efficiency without constant supervision.
