The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and welfare, ensuring that all animals in our facility receive the highest standard of care. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for pets while assisting with their daily needs. This is a very High paced clinic. Need to be able to multitask and lift up to 70 pounds. Work schedule needs to be flexible, work week is Monday through Friday with weekend rotations. Reliability is a MUST!! Experience is optional. Serious inquiries ONLY! Please have a working phone number with voicemail. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, grooming, and exercising dogs. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff. Assist with animal restraint during examinations or treatments as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners when needed. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff. Requirements (Preferred) Previous experience with animals is preferred but not required. Knowledge of animal care practices, including dog handling and restraint techniques. Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners when needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting animals when necessary. Certification or training in dog training or pet grooming is a plus but not required. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
