From bathing and trimming to styling and finishing touches, your expertise will create happy, well-groomed pets and satisfied pet owners. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your skills make a real difference in the lives of our furry clients and their families. Duties Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling of dogs according to breed standards and customer preferences Maintain a clean and organized grooming station to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or maintenance schedules Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide after-care advice Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize daily service capacity Assist with errands related to pet supplies or grooming products as needed Provide exceptional personal service to clients, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners Requirements Previous salon or spa experience, preferably with dogs or in pet grooming environments Strong knowledge of grooming tools, techniques, and breed-specific styles Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process Experience with appointment scheduling software or systems is a plus Personal service experience with adults, adolescents, elderly individuals, or in hotel or clinic settings is beneficial for understanding diverse client needs Valid personal transportation assistance or ability to travel between locations if required This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in lively settings and are dedicated to delivering outstanding pet care. $26.40 - $31.80 per hour
