Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working kennel, assistant to join our busy kennel. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time for the right person. Schedule Thursday through Sunday, mostly mornings, some scheduling flexibility is available. Holiday and weekend availability is required as these are our busiest times. Responsibilities Feeding and caring for dogs. Cleaning kennels and maintaining a clean and sanitary facility. Exercising and monitoring dogs. Administering medications, training provided if needed. Observing dogs for changes in behavior or health. Providing exceptional care and attention to every dog in our facility. qualifications Previous experience working with animals is required, professional dog experience is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds sizes and temperament. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Able to perform physical work, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and cleaning throughout the day. A genuine love for and commitment to their and being.
