Job Description

Our quickly-growing dog grooming shop is seeking a dog bather to aid in grooming dogs. The ideal candidate will have experience with direct contact with animals and will demonstrate a desire to learn how to groom pets of all sizes and breeds. Eventually becoming a groomer. Our grooming shop is seeking a motivated individual who likes being part of a hard-working, fun team and wants to help maintain the positive environment for the staff and pets.
Responsibilities:
Washing, drying and brushing dogs Clipping and filing dog nails Caring for the dogs Maintaining a clean and safe environment
Schedule:
7 am to 3 pm, 5 days per week Qualifications Strong dog and animal handling skills with experience in grooming and pet care Excellent customer service and communication with pet owners Proficiency in pet coat styling, shampooing, nail trimming, and maintaining a clean, safe grooming environment Ability to restrain and manage animals safely; basic kennel and space maintenance Premium/related experience preferred: veterinary or veterinary technician/assistant exposure, dog training Physical capability for regular lifting and standing for extended periods
