Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog and Cat Pet Groomer to join our team. (Cat groomer is bonus! )The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional pet care services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for grooming pets to ensure their health and well-being while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. This role requires hands-on experience with various breeds and sizes of animals, along with the ability to handle them safely and compassionately. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin, providing appropriate grooming recommendations. Ensure the safety and comfort of all animals during grooming sessions through proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their inquiries or concerns. Assist in animal restraint as needed during grooming procedures to ensure safety for both the pet and the groomer. Collaborate with team members to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Commission Based:

$40,000 - $60,000 + (Yearly) Commission based with completed and paid appointments + 100% tip.

Full time schedule:

Monday-Friday. 8am - whenever you finish your appt. Experience Experience in Pet grooming or related. (Porfirio or work proof preferred.) Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Knowledge of animal care practices, including dog handling techniques and basic veterinary knowledge is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets simultaneously. Experience in kennel management or as a veterinary assistant is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with dog training techniques can enhance the grooming experience for both pets and owners.
