Alternating weekends off About Bark & Biscuit Bark & Biscuit is a structured, training-based dog daycare and boarding facility focused on helping dogs become well-balanced, happy companions. Our Kennel Technicians are an important part of that mission. This is an active, hands-on position where you'll spend your day caring for dogs, maintaining a clean and safe facility, following established routines, and working as part of a dependable team. No previous kennel experience is required. We'll train you. What we're looking for is someone who is reliable, positive, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing their job well. What You'll Do Supervise small, structured outdoor dog social groups in all weather conditions Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our dogs Provide attentive daily care, including feeding, potty breaks, and affection Support enrichment activities and training goals through daily routines Follow established procedures focused on the safety and well-being of the dogs Work as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team This Job Isn't for Everyone Let's be honest: working with dogs isn't all playing and cuddling. You'll be on your feet throughout the day, cleaning up after dogs, mopping floors, working outside in rain or shine, and working weekends when scheduled. If you're looking for a job where you sit behind a desk all day, this probably isn't it. But if you enjoy working hard, staying active, being around dogs, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do, you'll fit right in. We don't do drama, gossip, or ego. We show up, support each other, and stay focused on the dogs. What We're Looking For Reliable & On-TimeOur dogs count on us. We expect approximately 98% attendance and consistent punctuality. Pay, Benefits & Growth Starting pay of $13.11/hour Guaranteed raise once per year Opportunities to advance into higher-level Kennel Technician positions Opportunities to grow into Front Desk Admin or Training Assistant roles Higher-level positions come with higher pay Health insurance options — we cover 50% of your premium PTO available after 1 year Access to dog training education and enrichment techniques Four-day workweek 10-hour shifts Three days off every week Alternating weekends off Supportive team environment Schedule All employees alternate between AM and PM shifts depending on each week's schedule.
Morning Shift:
6:30 AM - 5:00
PMEvening Shift:
