Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess strong customer service skills. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with animals and want to contribute positively to their care. Responsibilities Bathe and groom pets according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the bathing process. Handle animals with care, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including washing towels and cleaning equipment. Assist in the overall care of animals, including monitoring their behavior and health during appointments. Requirements 2 years experience in animal handling or pet grooming is required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment. Knowledge of animal behavior, restraint techniques, and basic pet care practices is a plus. Previous experience as a veterinary assistant is advantageous but not mandatory. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
