Oversee pet intake and check-out processes, verifying health records and owner instructions for each dog. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility by implementing pet grooming routines, kennel cleaning, and sanitization protocols for animal care areas. Monitor dog behavior continuously to prevent conflicts, utilizing animal restraint techniques and handling skills as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards including heavy lifting, team lifting procedures, outdoor work safety, and animal restraint protocols. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behaviors, and any incidents that occur during daycare hours. Skills Strong background in pet sitting, dog training, kennel management or pet boarding operations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to address client inquiries professionally and empathetically. Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal behavior to promote positive interactions. Ability to perform outdoor work safely while managing multiple tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing facilities, and supervising outdoor play areas. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, team lifting, and prolonged periods of active movement around the facility. Familiarity with pet care facility sanitization practices to ensure a clean environment conducive to animal health.
