Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping to meet each dog's specific needs and breed standards Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, recommending appropriate grooming treatments or products Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Communicate clearly with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide grooming advice tailored to their dog's needs Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize daily client flow while providing timely service Handle special requests such as dematting, de-shedding treatments, or breed-specific cuts with precision and care Assist with maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and order new stock as needed to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Prior salon or spa experience with animals, particularly dogs, is highly preferred Familiarity with grooming tools, techniques, and breed standards Strong personal service skills with adults, adolescents, elderly individuals, and pet owners from diverse backgrounds Experience with appointment scheduling systems to coordinate client visits seamlessly Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to animal grooming and sanitation practices Additional experience such as hotel or clinic work, personal transportation assistance, or private residence grooming is a plus Join us if you're passionate about making dogs look their best while delivering exceptional service!
