In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals in our facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and have experience in handling various types of pets. This position is vital in maintaining a clean and organized environment while delivering excellent customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, medicating and exercising. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Ensure all animals are comfortable and safe during their stay. Greeting customers, Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their pets and addressing any questions or concerns. Always insuring a smooth enjoyable check-in and check-out process. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for both animals and staff. Assisting with check ins and checkouts. Scheduling boarding, grooming, and daycare reservations. Answering phone calls, emails, and faxes Client account recording, accepting and registering payments Assisting managers to ensure all daily operations of the business run smoothly. Requirements Previous experience in a kennel or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of animal handling techniques and basic animal behavior. Ability to perform animal restraint safely when necessary. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving animals as needed. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
