We're seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Pet Sitters to join our team as self-employed 1099 contractors in the West End Richmond, University of Richmond, Short Pump and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Visit clients' homes to care for pets (dogs, cats, and small animals) Walk dogs, play with pets, feed, refresh water, and clean up after them Provide overnight or vacation care when needed Communicate with pet owners about routines, updates, and any concerns Maintain a clean, safe environment in clients' homes Handle pets safely using proper techniques and equipment (leashes, harnesses, etc.) Provide reliable, friendly service that builds trust and long-term relationships Requirements Love of animals and experience handling dogs and cats Own a reliable automobile and have an identified, dependable backup plan Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Comfortable working a flexible schedule (morning, midday, evening, or overnight) Availability for Thanksgiving weekend and/or Christmas Eve & Day Availability at least two weekends a month Availability for overnights a plus Must live in or adjacent to zip codes 23219, 23220, 23221, 23222, 23226, 23229, 23238.
