This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your skills make a real difference in the health and happiness of animals. Your day will vary on clientele daily. Some days there will be no grooming just bathing. We are looking for a grooming to build the grooming clientele. We offer a unique experience for clients to drop their dog a daycare during the day and then get groomed before going home. We are looking to build our grooming business and want a professional groomer to help us do that. Duties Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Perform pet bathing, drying, brushing, and coat styling to meet client specifications and breed standards Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming procedures with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide after-care advice Assist with pet handling during grooming sessions, ensuring animals are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care is required Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, animal restraint, and animal handling techniques Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large dogs or equipment Experience with dog training or veterinary experience can enhance your ability to manage diverse animals confidently A genuine love for animals combined with excellent customer service skills ensures a positive environment for pets and clients alike Must have own grooming tools Join us in creating happy, healthy pups through expert grooming and compassionate care!
