Overview Join our busy team as a Doggie Daycare Receptionist, where your enthusiasm for pups and dedication to exceptional customer service will shine! In this very busy position we can average 100 -120 dogs daily, you'll be the friendly face greeting pet owners, managing daily check-ins and check-outs, making sure they are charged correctly with the times they are here. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for animals with a team committed to outstanding pet care. Responsibilities
MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK
Greet pet owners and their dogs with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression, learning the dogs and owners names and greeting them in such a way Be able to keep up with 100 - 120 dogs coming through the door daily Be able to stand for long lengths of time Safely move dogs back and forth to daycare yards Manage scheduling for dog drop-offs, pickups, for daycare and boarding efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and common spaces to promote a clean friendly atmosphere. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries about services, and provide accurate information about our daycare and boarding programs. We have 3 phone lines that are busy Be able to correctly check in boarders taking accurate notes of feeding instructions, medications, or any other special needs during the dogs stay with us. Make sure all dogs vaccinations are current before comin into daycare or booking a boarding reservation. Qualifications Prior experience in dog daycare, or veterinary reception is highly desirable. Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus. Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and safe handling practices is essential. Background in pet sitting or kennel work demonstrates your ability to care for animals responsibly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to handle big excited dogs on leashes daily. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. From $15.00 per hour
