Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will engage with the dogs throughout the day, ensuring their well-being and happiness while also maintaining a clean and organized space. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in animal care. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs in playgroups to ensure safe and positive experiences. Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing as needed. Monitor the health and behavior of all dogs, reporting any concerns to management. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play areas, and equipment. Assist with feeding schedules and ensure all dietary needs are met. Provide excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up times. Engage in training exercises with dogs to promote good behavior and socialization skills. Perform heavy lifting as required for cleaning tasks or moving supplies. Requirements Experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred. Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is a plus. Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel worker, or similar role is advantageous. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
