Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team. As a pet sitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our furry clients while providing peace of mind to their owners. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Duties Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding walking routes, feeding schedules, and any special needs or concerns. Monitor the behavior and health of pets during visits, reporting any issues to pet owners promptly. Maintain a positive relationship with both pets and their owners through effective communication and customer service. Ensure that all dogs are leashed securely and safely during walks. Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization. Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain cleanliness in the community. Provide additional services as needed, such as bringing in the mail and giving pets medication. Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog handling preferred. Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners. Experience in kennel environments or equine care is a plus. Strong organizational skills to manage schedules effectively and respond to client needs promptly. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential for success in this role.
