$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Job description: Part-Time Dog Walker & Pet Sitter Walk This Way Dogs At Walk This Way Dogs, our mission is simple: to be the best part of a dog's day. We provide private, one-on-one dog walking and pet care services throughout Tacoma and surrounding areas. Our team is committed to providing dependable, compassionate care while building meaningful relationships with both pets and their people. This is more than just "playing with dogs." We are trusted with live animals, clients' homes, schedules, and peace of mind. We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented people who genuinely care about animals and take pride in doing meaningful work. Position Overview We are currently hiring a Part-Time Dog Walker & Pet Sitter with required weekday midday availability. This role is ideal for someone who: enjoys independent work loves being outdoors and active communicates professionally is dependable and detail-oriented wants meaningful part-time work with growth potential Our busiest service hours are between 10AM-2PM, and applicants must have availability Monday-Wednesday during midday hours at minimum.

Schedule & Availability Part-time:

starting approximately 6-12 hours per week Typical service hours: 9AM-5PM Peak demand hours: 10AM-2PM Monday-Wednesday midday availability required Additional weekday, evenings, weekend, and holiday availability as needed Flexible scheduling based on your availability and client demand Compensation & Benefits $18-$22/hour Paid drive time Paid training W-2 employee position Sick leave Tip eligibility after 30 days Flexible scheduling Employee discounts on services Discounts with select community partners (vet clinics, retail partners, etc.) Growth opportunities within the company Responsibilities Walk dogs safely in all weather conditions Provide one-on-one pet care and companionship Follow detailed client instructions carefully Communicate professionally with clients and management Travel between appointments throughout the day Provide visit updates and photos through our pet care app Maintain professionalism in clients' homes and neighborhoods Monitor pets for safety, behavior changes, or health concerns Requirements Reliable personal vehicle Valid driver's license Smartphone with reliable data plan Comfortable driving throughout Tacoma and surrounding areas Ability to walk up to 6 miles per day Ability to work independently and manage time well Professional communication skills Background check required Professional references required Pet care experience preferred Important Notes This role involves responsibility, time management, physical activity, and working independently.
