Position Summary:
99 Problems But Groom'n Ain't 1 is seeking a full-time experienced Pet Groomer to join our team of dedicated pet care professionals in Tacoma, Washington. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. As well as adhering to policies and procedures, the ideal candidate will possess strong grooming skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a genuine love for both dogs and cats.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services on a variety of dog and cat breeds, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable grooming environment for both pets and groomers. Including cleaning kennels, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning any potty messes a pet might make, Etc.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific grooming preferences and any special requirements for their pets.
- Recognize and address any potential health concerns or issues, such as skin conditions or parasites, and communicate these concerns to clients and management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building trust and rapport with both human and animal clients.
- Remain up-to-date on the latest grooming trends, techniques, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other groomers and team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Answering telephones at times, Calling pet parents to let them know the groom is complete or ask questions in certain instances when more info might be needed, and scheduling grooming appointments for our clients dogs and cats.
- Opening or Closing duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years minimum experience in Pet grooming .
- Strong knowledge of various dog and cat breeds and their grooming requirements.
- Ability to safely and effectively handle dogs or cats of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Full-time Pay:
$1,250.00- $2,500.
