The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, providing essential support in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our furry guests. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with animals of various temperaments. We currently have both weekday and weekend positions available. This is a high energy, fast paced position. Duties Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising dogs. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces by performing regular cleaning tasks. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Assist with animal handling during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed. Support pet owners by providing information about services and answering questions regarding their pets' care. Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff during interactions. Requirements Previous experience in pet care, such as working as a Veterinary Assistant or in a kennel environment is preferred. Strong skills in animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to animal care (e.g., lifting bags of food, moving animals). Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and pet owners. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
