Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in professional grooming techniques, comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and demonstrates strong customer service expertise. This role requires clear communication with pet owners, the ability to understand and meet client expectations, and a commitment to building trust through professionalism, consistency, and care. The groomer plays a key role in creating a safe, stress-free grooming experience and ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. This is a growing role with potential to expand into a full time schedule. GGs Grooming Salon is a small business that maintains a full clientele list - recurring bookings, every 6-8 weeks. We are looking for someone to continue to do the same by: providing exceptional customer service, performing excellent services and ultimately building those relationships with the customers to rebook. •2 Saturdays or Sundays (groomers choice) a month Required•Key Responsibilities Safely and confidently handle dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments Deliver consistent, high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations Consult with pet owners to understand preferences, lifestyle needs, and expectations Identify and communicate any coat, skin, or behavioral concerns to pet owners in a clear and professional manner Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming workspace in accordance with salon standards Manage time effectively to ensure appointments run smoothly and efficiently Provide exceptional customer service that encourages client trust, satisfaction, and repeat visits Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of professional dog grooming experience Excellent client communication with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
