Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, ear cleaning and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with our receptionist regarding the pet owner's grooming preferences and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Handle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety and comfort during grooming. Stay updated on the latest grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Requirements Proven experience as a Pet Groomer is required. Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming styles, and animal behavior. Skills in animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care practices are essential. Previous experience in roles such as equine care, dog training, veterinary assistant, kennel management, or pet sitting is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
