Responsibilities Provide attentive pet sitting and daily care for animals in our kennel facility, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of kennels, common areas, and equipment to uphold the highest standards of pet care facility hygiene Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques, ensuring safety for both pets and staff during feeding, grooming, or medical procedures Assist with pet grooming, including bathing, and brushing to keep pets tidy. Support pet boarding operations by monitoring animal behavior, administering medications if needed, and providing enrichment activities Engage in outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor kennels, and supervising playtime to promote healthy activity and socialization Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks like moving large kennels or supplies safely through team lifting protocols Requirements Prior veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling that demonstrates confidence working with various animals Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices to ensure safety and comfort during care routines Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to maintain a sanitized environment in accordance with health standards Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with animal behavior principles to assess pet needs and respond appropriately Join us if you're passionate about animal care and eager to grow your skills in a lively setting where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference!
