Job Description

Hooman for Hire is hiring an evening Team Lead to help guide our pet care team while staying hands-on in the field. This role blends dog walking, group hikes, and in-home visits with some admin support. Experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) is a plus. As a small business, there's real room to grow with us. Every new hire goes through hands-on onboarding and training, no matter your experience level coming in. What you'll need 18+, with professional-level pet care experience or a background in fast-paced customer service (medical office experience counts) At least 1 year in that kind of environment, or related education A clean background check and driving record, valid in all 50 states A reliable vehicle that can handle Anchorage and Eagle River winters and terrain Comfortable working with a range of species, breeds, ages, and temperaments Able to walk at a brisk pace for up to 2 hours, bend, and handle up to 4 dogs Available weekends and holidays, with at least one weekend day guaranteed each week Social media content/management experience preferred, not required Schedule Evening shifts, 2pm-10pm or 4pm-10pm, Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday-Thursday.
