Dog Trainer (Full-Time) For All DogsThe People Who Love Them Training Center is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, passionate Dog Trainer to join our team! Our trainers work with dogs and the people who love them through private lessons, behavior consultations, group classes, BoardTrain, and Day Train programs-all with one goal in mind: keeping dogs in their homes. We're Looking for Someone Who... Has at least 2 years of professional dog training experienc e and enjoys working with both dogs and people. Is comfortable teaching private lessons, behavior consultations, group classes, and BoardTrain programs. Can confidently evaluate behavior and develop individualized training plans. Communicates with professionalism, patience, and empathy. Willing and excited to shadow and learn from other trainers to expand skills and experience Understands that there is no one-size-fits-all training method and can adapt training approaches to meet the individual needs of each dog and client Thrives as part of a collaborative team. Shares our passion for strengthening the bond between dogs and their families. We're not looking for someone who knows everything-we're looking for someone who is always learning, enjoys collaborating with others, and is excited to grow alongside our organization. Second Stage Application (full application with previous employment, education, references, and additional questions). Video submission of skills demonstration (instructions will be provided to selected candidates). First in-person interview, job shadow, and skills demonstration (this step may be separated into two dates/times). Second in-person interview with leadership team.
