Full Job Description Bark Collective:
Dog Walker and Daycare Attendant Become a part of the Bark Collective! Bark Collective is a full service pet care company including daycare, boarding, training, dog-walking, and grooming that prides itself in the quality of care for our employees, dogs, and high end clientele. By becoming a Dog Walker and Daycare Attendant you will spend your days active, outdoors and with the dogs. This position involves being hands on with up to at least 20 dogs a day including but not limited to walks, hikes, pick ups/drop offs, trips to groomers/animal hospital, etc. How you will make a difference: You will ensure that the Bark Collective Vision, Values and Client experience is being upheld by: Overseeing the care of and adequate exercise for dogs that have been screened and trained by our team prior to becoming part of the Bark Collective. Driving to and from client homes and Bark Collective headquarters for dog pick-ups using company provided vehicle. Following a dog walking schedule that may be updated daily and at times, in the moment in order to meet our clients needs. Maintaining your company assigned vehicle by overseeing inventory in van and ensuring it's running smoothly. Managing client care and communication face to face with clientele Assisting in the on-boarding and training of new walkers or daycare attendants When on shift as a daycare attendant you will spend your days playing with and supervising dogs in our large outdoor yard. This position also includes daily husbandry such as feeding, medicating, bathing, and cleaning up after the dogs. needs. •Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements For Success:
Previous animal related experience a plus! Must be a dog lover Fluent English Speaker Customer Service oriented Clean driving record Be physically able to walk multiple dogs for up to 1 hour at a time including up hills, on the beach, etc. Must be comfortable with general care of dogs including feeding, cleanup (yep! picking up poop), and administering medical treatment •Other duties as assigned.
Job Type:
Part-time & Full- time opportunities available. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays.
Pay:
$18- $21.00 per hour dependent upon experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of one year of prior experience, and a basic understanding of canine behavior and corrective actions.

The typical noise level for this position is: Moderate Noise (business office with office machines and or computer printers, light traffic, dogs barking and playing)
