Part-Time Doggy Daycare Attendant (Long-Term Position) Pack Pawsitive | Glendora, CA Pack Pawsitive is a small, enrichment-based doggy daycare and training facility seeking a reliable, mature, and dedicated Part-Time Doggy Daycare Attendant. This position is ideal for someone looking for long-term employment with part-time hours each week. We are NOT seeking someone looking for seasonal or temporary/short-term work. Our dogs and their parents form strong, ongoing bonds with our team , which is why consistency, reliability, and professionalism matter deeply in this role. We intentionally invest significant time in training and onboarding our staff and are looking for someone who values being part of a stable, trusted team. This role starts with limited hours and grows as training is completed and trust is built. This job is an excellent fit for someone: Looking to earn extra income, not a full-time job Seeking a few shifts per week Wanting to gain hands-on knowledge about dogs and dog behavior Hoping to become part of a supportive team, with a great team culture Schedule & Hours We will be hiring for a floater position to help with the following shifts:
  • 7-9am Opening Shift (primary shift, 3-5 days/week)
  • this may change to an 8-10am shift beginning in 2027
  • 3-6pm Closing Shift (occasionally, as needed)
  • 9am-12pm & 12-3pm Mid
  • Morning & Midday Shifts (occasionally, as needed) 6-10 hours per week to start Flexible hours and availability Opportunity to increase hours after the probationary period Monday-Friday availability Business hours: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Not a short-term or seasonal position Responsibilities Supervising dogs at all times while learning individual personalities and canine body language Checking dogs in and carefully following all care instructions Redirecting behavior using safe techniques Assisting with basic training and enrichment activities Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment (laundry, mopping, sanitizing, waste cleanup) Communicating professionally with team members and pet parents Posting on our social media platforms Requirements Must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Comfortable working with all breeds and personalities (no breed restrictions) Comfortable with cleaning pet waste and performing physical tasks Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn and participate in hands-on training Dog experience is a plus, but not required.
