Dog Lover Wanted — Come Work With Us! Do you LOVE dogs? Want to get paid to spend your day surrounded by wagging tails, wet noses, and happy pups? Looking for a job where no two days are exactly the same? Then this might be the job for you! We're looking for a reliable, responsible, and committed Dog Handler to join our team at The Crate Escape! This is more than just playing with dogs! We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with animals and is interested in staying with us long-term. If you're looking for a temporary job or something to do for just a few months, this likely isn't the right fit.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Personable, responsible & dependable Reliable and committed — someone we can count on! Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, personalities & energy levels Physically capable of safely handling 20+ dogs at a time, including strong/high-energy dogs Calm, patient and confident in a busy dog environment Comfortable getting slobbered on, wet, dirty, and occasionally covered in who-knows-what Willing to pick up poop, clean up pee/messes, and keep our home & yard clean and safe Available for 8+ hour daytime shifts some days Available to work weekends Available for occasional overnight stays Available to work holidays when needed Flexible — the schedule may grow into full-time hours or change over time A self-starter who can stay busy and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty! BONUS if you have experience in: Dog handling/daycare/boarding Dog training Veterinary medicine Grooming or other animal-related work
