Zoom Room Dog Training is dedicated to delivering a variety of positive reinforcement dog training services tailored for both puppies and adult dogs. Our mission extends beyond training dogs; we also educate the humans who love them. We welcome all breeds and are passionate about what we do! We are currently seeking a committed and flexible individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in animal behavior and positive reinforcement dog training, is reliable, feels comfortable working with clients in one-on-one or group settings, and most importantly is someone who can work as a team with other trainers and staff. This role will also involve ocassionally working at our front desk, assisting clients both in person and over the phone, selling passes, and scheduling appointments. You will shadow and receive guidance from our Head Trainer to learn the Zoom Room way of training in order to start teaching classes and conduct private training sessions. Trainers:

Greet clients and their dogs upon arrival Communicate effectively with team members Facilitate new dog evaluations, ocassionally respond to client inquiries and schedule appointments for both new and existing clients Assist with class preparations and post-class clean-up Assist with setting up and breaking down agility equipment Teach individual or group classes while adhering to Zoom Room practices and methodologies Utilize positive reinforcement training methods Communicate effectively with trainers and owners regarding dog behaviors Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with dogs of varying temperaments Receive constructive feedback to enhance personal development within the role MUST be available to work weekends and evenings Most holidays off Qualifications for

Trainer:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. A genuine passion for dogs and educating their owners. Background in dog training Certified Behavioralist is a HUGE plus. Familiarity with various dog breeds. Ability to read dog behavior and body language. Comfortable engaging with individuals in both one-on-one and group settings.
