This is a full-time on-site role for a K9 Handler for ScentWorks K9 LLC for a location in the Bay area of California. The K9 Handler will be responsible for handling highly trained detection dogs for explosives and weapons detection purposes. Daily tasks include training, maintaining the health and well-being of the K9 partner, and working closely with the training team to ensure and improve detection skills.
R equirement:
Dog Behavior and Training skills Experience in Military or Emergency Services Knowledge of Explosives Safety Ability to handle dogs in high-stress situations Experience in K9 training is a plus Physical fitness and stamina to work with dogs Excellent communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent Be able to pass a background check Requirements Hold A Current EDC Certificate Strong report writing skills. Excellent conflict management skills with the capability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Valid driver's license. Be able to pass a basic background check Physical fitness and stamina to work with dogs
