Dog Trainer Dogs in Harmony Sunnyvale, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time Up to $75 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Qualifications Animal behavioral training Pet training Training program CPDT-KA Certification Animal training Dog training Full Job Description Dog Trainer Dogs in Harmony is a full service training program for families that want to build clear communication with their dogs to create a better quality of life for every member of the house hold. We specialize in early puppy development, training and socialization as well as behavior and training needs that will come up during the lifetime of the dog. Our training center is located in Sunnyvale and our service area for in-home private lessons is in the South Bay and Lower Peninsula. Harmony School
  • Day school ideal for puppies under the age of 4 months Monday
  • Friday 9 am
  • 2pm Group Lessons
  • Dogs are divided into groups matched by play style, training ability and age. Monday
  • Friday afternoons & evenings Private Lessons
  • For dogs that need one on one training, maybe reactive or have little training background and are not yet appropriate for group lessons. Tuesday
  • Friday afternoons and weekends
Our Ideal Trainer:
CPDT certified and ready to transfer existing training skills and experience (private and group lessons) to our clients. A positive reinforcement dog trainer or aspiring trainer that is looking for consistent and reliable work. Is a good communicator, can deliver clear and positive directions and feedback Likes receiving feedback and collaborating with other trainers. Wants to continue learning about dog cognition, emotional and behavioral needs, body language, and training skills. Is organized and reliable. Can commit to a regular work schedule.
