• Highlands Ranch, CO The Dog Wizard Highlands Ranch is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and dog-loving individual to join our team as a Kennel Technician / Training Assistant .

This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience in the dog training industry and is eager to learn about behavior, structure, and balanced training techniques. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe training environment while also assisting our trainers in working dogs through their programs. Responsibilities Handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including those with mild to moderate behavioral challenges Assist in training sessions by reinforcing skills after trainers introduce them Help with repetitions and structured work to build consistency in each dog's training Clean up after dogs (including waste, accidents, and occasional vomit) Maintain a clean and organized facility, including: Kennels and crates Training areas Equipment and tools Follow direction from trainers and contribute to a structured training environment What We're Looking For Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and energy levels Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to do hands-on, sometimes messy work Positive attitude and coachable mindset Strong work ethic and ability to take direction Interest in learning dog behavior and balanced training techniques Team player who enjoys being part of a fast-paced, hands-on environment Bonus Qualifications (Not Required) Prior experience working with dogs (kennel, daycare, shelter, or training) Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is a strong plus Interest or experience in creating content (photos, videos, reels, etc.) Desire to grow within the dog training industry Why Join The Dog Wizard?
