Here's a solid job description you can use for an application, Indeed posting, or employee paperwork: Doggie Daycare Attendant Eastern Iowa Pet Resort - Cedar Rapids, Iowa The Doggie Daycare Attendant is responsible for safely supervising dogs during group play while helping maintain a clean, organized, and positive environment for the dogs in our care. This is an active, hands-on position that requires someone who is comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Responsibilities Supervise groups of dogs during indoor and outdoor daycare play. Closely monitor dog behavior and interactions to help maintain safe and appropriate play. Recognize signs of stress, fear, overstimulation, illness, injury, or inappropriate behavior. Redirect or separate dogs when necessary to prevent unsafe interactions. Give dogs attention, exercise, enrichment, and appropriate interaction throughout the day. Assist with moving dogs safely between daycare yards, kennels, rooms, and other areas of the facility. Clean up urine, feces, water, mud, hair, and other messes throughout the daycare areas. Clean and disinfect daycare rooms, yards, kennels, bowls, equipment, and other areas as needed. Keep play areas organized and help maintain a clean and professional facility. Communicate important information about dogs' behavior, health, or incidents to management and other team members. Follow all Eastern Iowa Pet Resort safety procedures, cleaning procedures, and dog-handling policies. Assist with other general pet resort duties when needed. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position.
